Our Program Consists of Three Phases
The Intake/Stability phase
A 30-day probationary period in which both the resident and the staff evaluate readiness to change followed by the Stability Phase, with emphasis on the importance of safety and routine in the client’s life.
The Working Phase
The resident works on developing emotional regulation skills, conflict resolution, and assertive communication skills. The resident continues in coaching, and interpersonal relationships.
The Transition Phase/Aftercare
Where residents prepare and implement their exit strategy. This phase includes preparation for graduation, finding sponsors, successful passes of a longer length, and relapse prevention training which marks the residents completion of the 6 month program. In the Aftercare program graduates will have a lifetime of support available to them.
Upon graduation, women may be invited to live in our home for our third phase program. They can potentially live in a third phase suite for up to 12 months, after graduation, as they transition from program life. This allows our graduates more freedom than they experienced in program with regular accountability as they move forward with their lives walking out freedom from addiction.

Who We Are
Windsor Life Centre is a residential, faith based treatment Centre for women recovering from drug and alcohol addictions located in Windsor, Ontario. Operating as a charity in Ontario, we are accountable to the women we serve, our donors, and supporters.
