Windsor Life Centre believes recovery is strengthened through safety, collaboration, and gradual growth. A trauma-informed environment combined with structured support and increasing independence allows residents to move forward with confidence rather than uncertainty.
The goal is not simply completion of a program, but preparation for sustainable recovery and community integration.
Our Program Consists of Three Phases
Phase 1
Foundational Recovery
The first 90 days form the core residential program, where women build stability, develop recovery skills, and establish healthy routines within a structured, trauma-informed environment. Residents graduate at the completion of this phase, having laid a strong foundation for continued growth and independence.
Phase 2
Functional Recovery
Provides an additional 90 days of supported integration and transferable skill building, allowing residents to apply recovery skills while gradually increasing independence. Through collaborative planning with staff, continuation into this phase is often strongly recommended to reinforce progress and build confidence in daily responsibilities such as work, relationships, and community engagement.
Phase 3
Sustainable Recovery
Residents who successfully complete Phase 2 may apply for Phase 3, an extended six-month phase focused on sustaining long-term stability before full transition into the community. During this stage, residents strengthen employment,education, housing options, and support networks while maintaining connection to program accountability and guidance.

Who We Are
Windsor Life Centre is a residential, faith based treatment Centre for women recovering from drug and alcohol addictions located in Windsor, Ontario. Operating as a charity in Ontario, we are accountable to the women we serve, our donors, and supporters.
